Saw Emily on Newsnight last week - she just isn't suited to this heavy weight programme.
In comparison to Kirsty's voice, Emily's is too soft and light............not at all suited to the programme.
Don't think about pinching Adrian Finighan for anything - unless it's a well deserved anchor role on the Six or Ten, alonsgide Moira or Manisha Tank.
Was Emily Maitlis just providing holiday cover, or is she now part of the permanent line up?
