Will Emily continue to appear on BBC1 shows such as the lottery and that Julian Clarey show she helped out in last year?

It would seem that Louise is not a intregal part of the new look channel.

The Press Gazette say that Jon Sopel will be joined by Kate Silverton!

No it doesn't. Confused

"The BBC's former Paris correspondent, Jon Sopel, and Kate Silverton will continue to present the news on News 24 during the day."

they've worded it pretty ambiguously, but it probably means they'll present separately "during the day."

I'm sure there are millions of Ben Browns in the world - it's not a unique name like Archibald Uggawuggawallawallabingbang!

Ben Brown seems an odd choice to me. He is not really well suited to excessive interaction with co-presenter on screen. A bit wooden.

I agree. In fact, let's not mince words here - I thought he was bloody awful.

Yeh true, there was a Ben Brown at my school last year, and as BBC WORLD and BBC LDN have said, he isn't very suited for what he is up for.

It's a bit unfair to be so hard on Ben Brown, when he has had, so far, little experience of studio presentation. I would imagine that News 24 management are hoping that he will grow into the presenter's role as he gains more experience of it.

That's very true. Best to give him the benefit of the doubt. Look at all the other non-studio presenters who have graduated onto being excellent studio anchors. I am sure that Ben will be ok eventually.
