Blimey.

Chris trailing Robert Hall in a speedboat and Catherine Marston in a helicopter tomorrow, apparently. I will avoid, as he did, the obvious terrible pun.

I can't get excited about this.

Would this obsession and ''gawd bless her'' coverage have anything to do with securing an exclusive interview?

'Real Story' or 'Tonight'

It has now cut into the Ten O'clock News on BBC One for the last ten minutes.

Tedious.

BBC1 & N24 now simulcasting, so N24 has dropped the tower and carrying the old-style logo in the top-left hand corner.

I must say I prefer the old News 24 design. Just make the captions + ticker go the whole width of the screen and forget about all this tower stuff...

I did wonder if they were going to take the regional opt early but clearly not....

I wonder if they will actually bother with the rest of the Ten.

Poor Huw must be sitting there just waiting, thinking about all the real news he had ready.

Classic touch from Sian Williams, ''of course, she's not the sort of person who likes a lot of publicity''... which would be why there are a hundred or so journalists just waiting to mob her.

They really do respect her, don't they.

I appear to be watching a white flashing dot on a black screen on BBC One.

Fab. It's really capturing the moment.

Why bother ?

You can barely see anything on this satphone footage on a clear DSAT picture...
Not sure people watching on analogue with badly positioned aerials will be getting the full effect somehow...

You're watching it, Square Eyes... !

Have Sky not sent their helicopter out to capture this moment of British history?
