Sky's coverage tonight is perhaps the worst I've ever seen from them.
They're present at virtually no counts, there are no graphics whatsoever, they have a crap counter in the top left which is very annoying, they're well behind on all of the results. The analysis is extremely poor.
It's constantly Adam Boulton reading out results but no graphics to actually show what is going. The rare time graphics do come on they are often out of date and with mistakes.
Why can't they just use their normal elections graphics suite?
The BBC which is fairly poor, is the only place to go tonight, analysis, presence at counts, speed of results and also immediate analysis and proper graphics.

I'd agree with you on Sky's coverage tonight. It's dull, dull, dull. Not just the presentation (which looks awful - and has made me think, where will they present a General Election from? Surely a purpose built studio, as the three they currently have just don't work!) but also, the format. Lots of results being missed, and I'm sorry, but Adam Boulton just once again proves why he's not suited to fronting big programmes like this anymore - he's bad enough on All Out Politics. Sky really need a shake up with their Election programming.

I think in terms of providing a general European overview of what's going on, Al Jazeera are doing a better job than anyone else (this doesn't surprise me that much). BBC really ought to have crossed to Katya Adler a bit more often - the French story is huge, for example (though perhaps she's been on World).

BBC Scotland aren’t going all night are they? Given that only around 6000 people seem to watch The Nine anyway, they’ll be lucky to have a thousand viewers watching!
The BBC News coverage is a little all over the place; quickly changing between panelist discussions, guests DTL, showing counts, touchscreen segments, etc. I think it’s because results are coming in far quicker than they would do for a GE results program. The chaos is actually making for quite a lively program though.

The funny thing, is it's easier to follow results on the Sky News website that on the channel. On the website you see things like this
There hasn't been anything like that mentioned or shown on TV. Surely voter numbers and result info being shown on screen is the basics? I just can't comprehend why they haven't used the standard election graphic set-up.

Bbc world news are providing the European view maybe they should have simulcasted with BBC News HD

It is disappointing that Katya hasn't been on screen to provide the European analysis - after all these elections are bigger than any single country.
