Is it possible one channel could call a State, while the other don't?

Yes. Some channels are doing their own exit polls meaning different results for different channels.

Reports are coming out of Virginia that it's tied at 49% each...

Where's the BBC's virtual stuff coming from, don't they usually use ITN ?

CNN apparently did that in 2004, declared Florida, I think it was, as Al Gore winning which meant he won the presidency. Only later did they revert back to "too close to call". Eventually they declared Bush, Gore congratulated Bush, then had second thoughts and got his lawyers on the case

Both VR studios at ITN are occupied these days - ITV News in one and Channel 5 News in the other. So I suspect it's coming from the BBC itself.

2000, not 2004.

Just realised, the ITV glass tiles are the same as what NBC use for Nightly use, although ITV's have rounded corners.

I thought it was 2000 originally but then had second thoughts and put 4 instead. Thanks for clarifying though

ABC set looks amazing. CBS seems to be using their 90s wooden desk national news set, what a contrast to ABC. Haven't seen NBC, what's their set like?
