Can only echo this - she's really developed in the last 18 months. She's old-school in the best way too - the news is very much the star when she anchors but she still absolutely knows her stuff and is great at explaining simply and concisely.
Bianca is one of CNN International's brightest stars - she's outstanding

And now a reprise of the exit poll camerawork just now to announce the Tories have officially won the election. Unpopular opinion but I really like the music.
I like the music for events like that but as a title sequence it was nowhere near as good as the old decision time music
nice touch with everything going blue on sky at the winning moment. the multicoloured bars on the desk are now all blue

Wouldn't mind if they used this theme for Election night and then the old Decision time music for the day-to-day news operation and just got rid of the normal theme music they've been using until today which is sounding very tired. Despite variations on that theme being used for 15 years or so now it's nowhere near as iconic as many news themes and every remix seems to make it worse.

Found I've stuck with the Sky coverage for much of the time I've been watching - it's exactly what I want from election coverage. Makes the whole thing feel like a big event, dynamic, great studio, follows the story of the night with a mix of analysis and live seat announcements and all done by a team in Murnaghan, Rigby and Bercow who know their stuff.
A real change from the Boulton days when it was a chore to watch. Have to say in recent elections I've found BBC a bit obsessed with Vine graphics and endless talking heads.

It worked well for the exit poll but it didn't sound right when it was used for their opener at 9pm - as someone else said above, the old 'Election Time' music would have worked better
I've read criticism of the new theme music but have to say it adds to that clip.

C-SPAN appears to be taking the BBC News (channel) feed. When BBC World went to Victoria Fritz (with a World News strap) the domestic feed won C-SPAN stayed with Tina. Now the cable cam transfer to her at OS / Weather / Studio J was appropriate.
I’m thinking the BBC’s look wouldn’t be as bad if they didn’t insist on virtual AR ceilings look where the lights would be, and the portal to Jeremy Vine. If they kept it simple with the virtual screen covering the cameras like on the local elections it would look a lot better.
And you know it’s bad when James Mobbs think Sky looks the best and said someone’s rank of a Sky, ITV and BBC was the correct one.

TV geeks. Do you have a favourite election set this year?

Sky is my clear winner. Innovative, fresh, and AR really works well grounded in Sky Central. Music and branding also punchy.
