US Election Night: International Coverage

BBC Arabic is broadcasting past its usual 10pm closedown. Whether or not it will close at 6am or just carry straight on to 10am when it would normally start up again. Modified studio being used with bits and pieces of American decoration!

who the best for the Senate seats? I would like to see if dems can get 10 new seats!

does msnbc usually stream live on the internet or is this jus for elections?

MSNBC doesn't always stream live - but it does when there are big breaking stories.

CBS stream now up and running.

Euronews' coverage is odd, there are two blokes narrating live which is very weird for Euronews. I don't think their coverage will be of particularly high quality tonight, their normal live events are very bitty and they're just stating the obvious right now (Sarah Palin will be the first woman vice etc).

If obama does not win? what will happen then, I dare say there will be storm brewing that hilary could have done this!

The BBC's Election Night graphics seem more suited to BBC Arabic, with the glass boxes rotating in and out etc...

In Ireland, RTE is broadcasting it's own coverage until 3AM then it cuts over NBC, TV3 is just re-broadcast CNN until 7am.

Slightly dissapointed by the CNN coverage so far,early days yet though.

AJE only just showed the first results, pretty slow!
Interesting way of showing the results aswell, on a side bar. Also, on the second picture, Kemahl was telling viewers that these pictures were from other channels which are covering the race (or something like that)
