Following on from suggestions in the other thread, two dedicated election night threads have been created - this one for international coverage from the likes of CNN and Fox.

Feel free to post your caps, videos and opinions!

Aswell as other channels coverage, best not forget AlJazeera's.
Felicity Barr is currently anchoring from Ohio, and has been for a few hours. She said just a minute ago that AJE's election coverage begins at 2200 GMT, then there was an advert for the coverage. David Foster and Ghida Fakhry being the main anchors in Washington, lots of correspondents in other states, and then over in Doha at the main studio, Lauren Taylor in an 'Interactive Hub' (a small corner of the newsroom near to the gallery) and then Kemahl Santamaria was at the newswall.

Interesting coverage that will be, and also nice looking graphics if a little too simple.

Edit: here is the advert:

I also noticed that Al Jazeera has been making use of their partners lately, particularly the P2Ptv Livestation.

I wonder why the BBC not doing the same thing, since they are also a partner broadcaster.

Funnily enough I've just installed Livestation, it's very good but very few full time video channels on it at the moment. I can watch AJE in decent quality at last though and I might use it to see what CSpan are up to tonight

The BBC are a partner but AFAICS only have BBC World on there... but not for the UK or the US. I suppose they have their own website and technology to provide interactivity whereas AJ don't

AJE getting there coverage off to a great start, both Ghida and David went through the correspondents they have around the world, aswell as around 10 correspondents in different US states, they have correspondents in Iraq, Pakistan, Israel, China, Brazil, Gaza, Mexico, DR of Congo and Kenya. Those are the ones I remember!

As for the graphics, AJE has changed its flipper into a ticker, nice blue straps aswell:

Tonight's looking good for streaming...

MSNBC already up and running (also now on CNBC, with the stock ticker on screen).

I'm hoping they'll also offer a stream of the NBC network coverage when it starts.

ABC up and running with ABC News Now coverage. I'm going to keep half an eye on this one in case they take the network coverage from midnight.

I'll post more links as they start up...

For MSNBC on NDTV is it everything? i.e. what is done during ad breaks?
