I wonder if ITV will put in ad breaks or not bother?

Sometimes overnight (well they used to do this anyway) they don't have ad breaks IIRC.

Stewart was still explaining ITV's graphics at midnight wheras Dimbleby was ready for the information to come in.

That's what happens when you schedule coverage to start at 23:45, after football highlights.

The BBC could learn something from ITV and make much better use of the News Channel ticker. It hasn't changed its content since 23:00. How about putting it on BBC One too?

Yeah JT a bit slow to get off the mark but Sky's graphics looking better now.

Very impressed with ITV's effort so far.
