US Election Night: Domestic Coverage

Why is everyone just transcribing numbers? Can't believe noone mentioned that attack by john boulton on rajesh, very nasty and well defended by David.

I'm showing who's calling what.

And I have the sound up on ITV, only really watching the graphics on BBC and Sky, so missigng those things. Sounds unprofessional which ITV certainly have not been - I've been very impressed with every aspect of their coverage so far.

All networks I can see are scoring 207 135 now. CNN have finally given McCain Texas.

Sky reports Fox calls 3 out of 5 Nebraska votes for McCain, and 2 for Obama.

ABC have put McCain on 138.

Well looks like they have booted him off the panel now, quite right too- just cos your party is having a bad night doesn't mean you should throw your toys out of the pram and start slagging off the station that has you on as a guest.

Sky erronously reports ABC calling all 5 Nebraska votes for McCain when they have only called 3/5.

BBC have given 3 from Nebraska to McCain as ABC.

Sky add those 3 also. Then ITV without explanation.

Sky reports CBS and NBC calling South Dakota for McCain so ITV should call this soon.

ABC also.

Then Sky call it.

BBC and Sky report Fox calling Virginia for Obama.

ITV have updated to 207:142, one short of NBC who must have called 2 for Obama in Nebraska.

NBC corrected their total to 142 - they have 1 vote yet to call in Nebraska.

RTE have joined CBS.
