I'm watching the BBC and finding it all rather dull! David Dimbleby is doing his best with Jeremy Vine but there's not much sense of excitement. Unlike a British election there are very few people in sight! No sense of battle as results are declared. No Paxmanesque interviews with significant politicians.
Am I alone in finding it a bit tedious?

If ABC have called a state that NBC haven't then the BBC can't add, otherwise ABC can't add, because no state has less than three votes.
Fox & CBS have called a state for McCain that neither ABC or NBC, and vice versa, for Sky to have 32 for McCain.

Having lagged significantly behind ABC News, where their info is coming from, through that lot, BBC now appear not to be able to add up - should be 102 not 103 for Obama
EDIT: unless ABC are wrong, of course!

Given NBC have 103, probably right - there was me (foolishly) thinking an American network would be better at this than the BBC!
Assumes NBC and ABC have called the same states for them to both be on 103. We still don't know exactly what ITV's counting rules are but assuming they are on a simple "if NBC call it we call it" rule, then either the BBC or ABC must be wrong.
What we really need, and I'm sure there's one out there somewhere, is a list of which networks have called which states to compare.
