The election itself has finished (well except for the 1 result that's due today) so I doubt the election night studio will be kept rigged up for much longer. They'll undoubtedly keep it stored and ready in case there's another election in a few months though.
As for Dimbleby I'd have thought he'll present the coverage when Brown or Cameron goes to see the Queen but I don't see why he'll be needed before that, we've probably got days of speculation while discussions take place out of sight
I wonder what the situation with Dimbleby will be now over the next few days. Will he be on standby to return to the airwaves as and when required? Will the BBC election night studio be kept on standby over the weekend?
