After almost 18 hours on air, 16 presented by Dimbleby, the BBC broadcast is about to go off air, on BBC One at least.



Exactly, it could destroy the Lib Dems if they get into bed with Cameron, many people would never trust their vote with them again.

Absolutely, Cameron specifically mentioned that they wouldn't compromise on were the Lib Dem's stance on immigration, Europe or Trident... 3 of their main policies

It's a shame the sweeping shot of the studio at the end was rather awkwardly interrupted by the montage of coverage from the past 24 hours.

Only you can answer that. He was on today though, if you didn't see him then I would guess you missed him. Someone (I forget who) suggested he should be knighted.

I wonder what the situation with Dimbleby will be now over the next few days. Will he be on standby to return to the airwaves as and when required? Will the BBC election night studio be kept on standby over the weekend?
