Well done to anyone who managed the whole night. I managed 4:15 before falling asleep.

Maybe it's been covered by why is there a second live feed in the TV Forum Newsroom saying "Hidden: Election 2010". Is there a hidden forum after all?!

lol - Asa, please tell if there's a secret forum!? Although back to the your point about staying up all night, we in Australia have it good - Sky News coverage started at 6am (AEST) - 9pm GMT, so I saw most of the coverage!

Ooo Charlie Stayt. They normally like to just hide him away on weekend Breakfast.

It's quite funny seeing all the correspondents from the BBC doing the Election, Nick Higham - for example, the Arts and Media correspondent and the suchlike.

The phrase "Lib Dem Victories" seems to be too big for the BBC graphics.

It's a shame BBC News can't stay in TC1 forever - would be a great studio for the news channel. Wink

I watched ITV's coverage from 21:55 until 02:00 and I also tuned in for their special at 09:25 this morning. I have to say I was very impressed with their programmes. Alastair held the main programme together very well indeed; it felt lively, energetic and in no way dumbed down. I know several members on here were slagging off the cosy nature of the ITV set-up even before the programme started but I think that was really unfair. In all honesty, the cosiness was more inviting for the viewer and I didn't feel the programme was lacking in any way as a result. They also had a good turnover of studio guests which kept the programme fresh.

For the record, ITV took commercial breaks during the 2005 coverage as well. They have to get their revenue from somewhere Rolling Eyes

I forgot to say - credit should go to all the ITN team producing the ITV programme. They had a minuscule budget compared to the BBC, yet they put on a remarkably good show regardless. It just goes to show - big isn't always best Wink

I've been quite impressed with these regional updates on the astons. Particularly that they all line up.

He didn't fall, the steadycam broke and he caught it.
