Poor ITV. Failure of the sound on the vital Nick Clegg speech they've been building up to there all morning. Was that specifically ITV's coverage that failed (as after a few seconds they seemed to switch to the same feed as the BBC), or did other broadcasters have problems?
Yes, a huge shame, but I really don't think they missed the most important part of the statement.

I flipped to Sky when Clegg spoke, picture and sound was 100% on there, it felt like watching a car crash on ITV, which is a shame because their coverage has been excellent.
BBC's coverage of the Clegg speech was fine as well, it was an ITV only problem - from all reports.
Anyway, Jon & Sian just threw to the same montage that aired when David handed over to Breakfast's Election Special at 9am. So David & company must be getting ready to come back on-air.
Well done to anyone who managed the whole night. I managed 4:15 before falling asleep.
Maybe it's been covered by why is there a second live feed in the TV Forum Newsroom saying "Hidden: Election 2010". Is there a hidden forum after all?!
Jon Sopel next to Dimbleby - presumably Sian's gone back to the news desk too. Nice to see Jon's played a big part in the election coverage - I always think he's unused most of the time.
@Gottago - someone (bbcsport maybe?) deleted a post and the system messed up, moving it to it's own "hidden" one.

Sopel now clearly gets No2 role. He's got the touch.
