The question is how many seats the liberals and labour can now gain - if the liberals stay put then Labour need 29 more in order for the two to get a majority between them. Otherwise they'll need the others - such as Plaid Cumri, independents and the DUP, to meet the 326 marker.
And, as James Lansdale was saying earlier, will the liberals - apparently damaged in this election rather than even staying put - risk a future election result by teaming up with Labour?

Poor ITV. Failure of the sound on the vital Nick Clegg speech they've been building up to there all morning. Was that specifically ITV's coverage that failed (as after a few seconds they seemed to switch to the same feed as the BBC), or did other broadcasters have problems?
