Well after deleting the post below . . . I seem to have somehow started my own live thread! Shocked

So at 7am:

BBC still with Dimbleby, Paxman and Robinson, although in Breakfast mode with local news, and news updates from Sian Williams.

Is there something in the BBC constitution that says Dimbleby has to remain on, until an overall winner is declared ? Laughing

Susanna Reid has oddly decided that this is the day to dress up as a tart!

That sting into the regional news sounds a lot like the vamp into the old virtual era Breakfast News sting

Are other regions' clocks running behind? Look North's is 3 minutes slow.

It's beginning to look that way. 10 hours of live TV and this ultimate professional shows no sign of flagging yet!

Well there is clearly a battle going on between David Dimbleby and CNN's Becky Anderson for who can stay on air for the longest . . . Anderson started at 9pm last night and is still going strong. Very Happy

Awful coverage from GMTV, they interupted an interview to go over to Glenda Jackson's seat just in time to get the results, but Lorraine Kelly & John Stapleton spoke about literally nothing over the crucial results.

Lorraine: "Oh, lets go over to Glenda Jackson's seat which is very interesting, very interesting. We can see right now if she holds her seat. It will be interesting to see if she loses it or keeps it."

John: "Er, yes er, very interesting, we're watching to see if Glenda Jackson keeps her seat, a very interesting result"

Lorraine: "Yes very interesting."

John: "Obviously a very crucial seat."

Lorraine: "Yes so lets take a listen..."

During the above babbling the result had already been announced.

It would've been electrifying to watch and HEAR the results as she got through by just 42 votes. Unfortunately ITV has decided to allow 2 presenters with very poor experience of election coverage. John Stapleton is and has always been Nationwide material, nothing more.

Having woken up since falling asleep at 4am, I'm pleasantly surprised to see Dimbleby and Paxman still on! I wonder if this means Dimbleby simply won't go off air, or whether Jon Sopel will take over later in the day. Is Emily Maitlis and Nick Robinson still there?

Yes they are both there. Sian is now doing the news bulletins.
