Election Night 2010

@ Joshua: I do agree to some extent. ITV's show is definitely more relaxed, but in no way dumbed down, and they seem to have got the graphics spot on this time round. The BBC is good, but their graphics are surprisingly bad - a huge shame.

Well that was a bit weird, a load of results suddenly coming through on the BBC that came up on ITV a while back.

@gottago - but is that because the BBC waited for them to be officially declared, or were they genuinely late?

@House, in that case I guess they must have all been officially confirmed at 1:30 then.

@Gottago (whose name I mistyped, then edited but my change doesn't seem to have been logged) the other confusing thing is they changed the results at the top before each individual announcement, so I couldn't work out with every new result if it was 19+ the latest or 19 including the latest. All a bit odd.

Just to add to my previous post, it is obvious if you're watching the screen when the number's gone up, but if you look away from the screen for even a second you can get very confused.

Also, for all those who think the BBC's graphics are dull, who to blame? Lambie Nairn for such lack of imagination or the BBC for paying them?!

Did anyone else think Sadiq Khan genuinely looked nervous there before his share?
