I have to say as dull as the BBC's (entire news) graphics are, they're far from intrusive and do get the job done! Nice Dimbleby/Simpson banter there - though I suspect this will be Dimbleby's last election, and despite him making odd mistakes here and there, Dimbleby is certainly a good broadcaster for these kinds of programmes. It'll be a shame to see one without him, though I think Marr or Paxman would get into their stride fairly quickly if they were to take over.
ITV been much better today. ITV already saying they'll win Kirkcaldy. Bit early
When did they say that? I'm watching ITV and I thought I heard Alastair Stewart say Brown, who was shaking hands with Lib Dems in Kirkcaldy at that moment, would win brownie points or words to that effect. I don't think he literally said that Brown would win the seat, but correct me if I'm wrong!
I think the BBC's graphics are awful. The ticker, the animation, the font not alligned, a light coloured font. I much prefer Sky's. Plus their coverage is good. The BBC had a bit of a unsteady start but they are getting into gear now, and obviously will top the ratings. ITV going ahead with lots of results as always, good, relaxed show though.
