Is anyone else missing the bottom half of their ticker on BBC One and Sky, or is my TV just knackered?

Your TV's geometry settings are off and the bottom is being cut off.

Northern Ireland's counts do not begin until 9am. Coverage will be on air in the afternoon... cable and Freeview viewers outside NI can see the BBC NI election programme courtesy of BBC Parliament. Satellite viewers can of course see it on BBC ONE NI.

I agree with you there. A nice transparentcy and angle on the locations instead of blocky and blue/white.
The aston is very nice how it animates, I'm not sure on the spinning X though, and as pointed out, surely it could be used for something else, though if they don't need to, there's no point.

I'm also loving the background overlooking the atrium and into the newsrooms. Why couldn't they use a setup like this permanently, especially on the news channel. They could bring up any graphics that they wanted to whenever they wanted to, and when they don't they would have an interesting background rather than floating blue squares.

Bums. I can't change it.

You're not the only one. My TV has the same issue, with the bottom third of the ticker on N24 being snipped off. My TV's geometry settings are quite happy though - it was working perfectly fine with the standard N24 ticker - with a couple of lines' gap between the ticker and the base of the screen in fact. The N24 election graphics certainly seem a good deal lower than where they're normally positioned.

For the record, I'm having no such issues with Sky News.
