ITV's feed from London Eye is quite fuzzy and they've got Honor Blackman & Richard Wilson

Reading through the regional listings, has Kirsty Wark been axed in Scotland?

Re: the ITV cross - the BBC logo on BBC Wales is much more annoying!

Also, disapointed with the Freeview Interactive services - just two alternative streams with no text / graphic service incorporated, though there is a section on BBCi Text - it's not brilliant though!

P.S. Are there any Dimbleby Juniors for the distant future!?

Love the BBC's studio, graphics and layout..

Here's some caps - apologies for the bad quality; I am on a co-ax cable.

Where is the election studio? It looks like it's in the basement of TV Centre. Confused

BBC is coming from Studio 1 at TVC

UTV is taking the ITV network feed, zooming it to 14:9 and degrading the audio quality so that it distorts. Nice.

One of Sky's 14 (not 16) multiscreens is a feed of the Rossendale and Darwen count - where they've got a massive projector screen, currently showing Sky News...

It's funny how basically ITV have the same set up this time as in 2001 - with Mary Nightingale in the Atrium and Jonathan Dimbleby in the studio above.

The difference is that in 2001 the studio was real - and this time it's virtual! The real one looked alot better IMO!

Also, re: Interactive services (I was considering a seperate thread to discuss this aspect). Is there an ITVi service on Sky?

Looks to me like that is a real window behind Paxman's bit of the set, looking out to the TVC Courtyard - whatever it is, it looks great.

There are no "real" windows in the studio (TC1 doesn't have any) - they are all video screens fed with cameras dotted around TV Centre - mostly pointing out of the ex-fountain in the middle of the doughnut.

Looks very nice though. I think the BBC "real + virtual" mix is looking very effective and quite bright and fresh.

Sky's feels very cramped - both in studio terms (the close-ups are VERY tight) and on-screen (so much graphics) and a bit drab (grey/blue and not brilliantly lit), whilst ITVs is effective (liked the Alistair Stuart virtual set with caricatures) - but in some ways feels like a stretched ITV News show with some slightly cleverer backings.

Question for the tech people..... " That shots not arced". This was from the gallery. Does that mean there are widescreen pictures somewhere along the line?

Just thinking about five later...

There are also possible pool feeds coming from the BBC - which may well be 16:9 and need ARCing to 4:3 if Sky are running 4:3.

(They are being VERY brave if they are doing it all in 16:9 for Five!)
