Election Night 2005

Sky had a stunner of an animation to announce the Labour win. Little ribbon like thing zipping around.

Hope the new look does have the sort of classy approach they've taken with the election graphics.

Just realised, it's a little like NBC's Democracy Plaza - but not quite as glitzy - very nice to see TV centre though.

Mary Nightingale just recapping for ITV that "Charles Kennedy won Inverness and is shown here in the city."

Oops. That's not his seat, and he wasn't there either. He was in my home town in Ross, Skye and Lochaber. Tsk.

The wall panels in the Sky News studio have also turned red.

It will be interesting to see the Ratings for the Election Coverage...
