I did like the "Dalek" reference on Sky News earlier this evening when there was a sound problem on one of the OB's.

Why does each channel seem to have a different amount of votes showing on their graphics, though?

It's fascinating listerning to the Sky News Gallery.

I find the way Sky write out the totals at the declarations quite useful as you can't always remember when there is a long list of candidates

This virtual walk to No. 10 on BBC is ridiulous!

ITV and Sky are now both taking Sheffield Brightside, BBC have missed it

and the BBC are now missing the Blunkett declaration as well

Yep - I saw the top and they said "from Television Centre in London" - but no mention of BBC...

Ah Smile

RTÉ's brand spanking new offices in Millbank were shown for the first time today on Six One, with Brian O'Connell covering the election.

He was standing with their 'newsroom' if it can be described as such behind. A large backlit 'RTÉ London' sign is positioned up on the far rear wall which looks very well - perhaps a setup to be used from now on...
Needs some tweaking though - the reflection of the camera in glass far back in the office is clearly evident Rolling Eyes

Yes.. its a shame they don't provide the gallery feed 24/7 and with sound... although judging by the language there's probably a good reason!

ITV now taking Blunkett's speech, Sky taking Prescott's declaration, and the BBC interviewing a Labour rebel backbencher!

Not sure if any videos have been posted, haven't been able to follow the thread. A little late, but here are my captures from the opening of the programmes, first with Sky at 9, BBC at about 9.50, and finally ITV at just before 10 o'clock.

SKY - 4.9 MB

BBC - 4.7 MB

ITV - 4.4 MB

Sky just announced a recount in Battersea, have ITV called Battersea yet? Sky do seem to be the clear slowest at getting the results in.
