Scotland Today cut too early (during the graphic). The presenter was waiting for about 5 seconds or so. They cut back to London no problem though.

ITV might be gambling a bit - I know their reporters are on a bonus to call a seat earlier than the competitors, whereas the BBC will play it extremely safe. Dangerous tactic if that is what's happening.

OK, what's happened on ITV? We were halfway through Granada News being at Bolton and it suddenly goes back to London with Dimbleby welcoming us back, suppose no-one told Granada how long they'd get!

I also noticed that too, did any other regions get cut off like that?

Granada opt out - using the Manchester view, which is something Granada don't use very often for opt-outs.

The squashed image is a fault with my capture card.

Where are ITV getting their figures from- yes the fastest, but accurate? They are risking it if they are flashing up predictions as results. Sky's coverage has been goodbut no-one can beat Peter Snow though, his graphics and VR stuff are excellent this year, the three way battleground is fantastic.

ITV just gave a summary of "all" the results so far... which amounted to three results - Sunderlands North and South, and Houghton - yet the supers still indicate 5 results all in Labour's favour. Bizarre.

Although their ticker shows 5 results, they have only been able to give 3 in detail.

Re the London coverage - as shown by the map posted above, as usual they forget that the London TV area covers more than just the Greater London area.

Great Grimsby's declaration time is predicted by PA as 01:30. I could call it for Austin Mitchell, who is normally a shoe in. I could call Sedgefield for Tony Blair but that declaration isn't until 01:15

Isn't this how ITV always do it, that's how they are first! They explained at the beginning of the programme what they would be doing.

ITV NC went to ads and were just about to show their umpteenth one when it instantly cut back to the studio which is looking great tonight - not as good as the old ITN set but still better than what normally gets plonked on that newswall!

Just caught 2W's opt in to Network Election coverage (Bounce Sombre for anyone interested). Obviously didn't have a master copy of the titles as they cut from the opening wide shot of David shown at 10pm after the titles to fade into the live coverage. Not very subtle.

Right, I've got to be up early for work but enjoy the coverage everyone (including the fascinating Sky gallery) and I'll look forward to all the caps and comments tomorrow! A great purpose for this forum IMO - let's hope it holds up Very Happy

Right so Rutherglen just declared to Labour, making BBC and Sky count 4, and now ITV have added it to their 5, maing them 6. So what are these other 2?

Five on air, normal 4:3 ratio as expected with Full Sky News dog.

5 came on air at Midnight - just crashing into Sky's coverage mid-sentence.

ITV does really need a ticker or equivalent saying which constituencies they are calling.
