I've received leaflets from practically everyone local and European, of varying degrees of quality obviously.

The ITV regions used to maybe do an hour programme, but it'd be off air before more than one result came in, so it'd be the same predictions and pre-amble that they'd aired in the days before anyway. Plus it'd start after BBC1's so I doubt many watched them.

I've had some little leaflets from Tories (binned instantly) and Labour and the Greens. But UKIP gave me a whole damn book with a poster to stick up in my from window Rolling Eyes Nothing from LibDems or BNP - almost as if they knew that both their leaflets would end up in landfill.

Off topic slightly...

BBC Studio looking good though.

One leaflet from UKIP, handwritten photocopied letters from the local Tories who have one councillor in my ward and Labour posted leaflets on a daily basis until yesterday from the beginning of May.

A glimpse of the BBC Elstree election studio just then on the Ten.

We've had two UKIP leaflets, and letters addressed to the males and females of the house separately from the Conservatives. A large van locally has had huge UKIP posters gaffer-taped to the side. Not a real surprise, as the area isn't exactly a Labour heartland. No BNP leaflets this time round though.

Another brief look at the BBC's set here, and the compulsory 'Jeremy Vine explaining Green screen' video, although I must say that the environment they've placed Vine in the video looks of really quite high quality, and certainly an improvement on previous years.

I wonder if being out of TVC, and indeed NBH will have any bearing on the programme, in terms of reporting/results speed, the number of lines in/out of NBH and TVC made it seemly, is Elstree as capable?

Wern't the people manning the desks at TVC mostly for show. Info coming from the Newsroom, BT Tower, and regional OBs?

I do wonder if people read threads before posting...
