Must agree with this, something very appealing about it. I take it this thread will be the place to be for Screenshots etc?

Be careful, sjdavis.

Random capitalisation of words is the first sign of the onset of Alldritt Shatliffe Syndrome (ASS). Check with your GP if this worrying trend continues.

Please let's not make this into one of those nightmarish clique threads, that goes off at tangents, namedropping random members that only a select few have ever heard of.

Can we please stick to the election... that's why the thread is here.

I always thought Metropol was for slagging people off.

Like watching a car crash. He insulted the Ballot Box Jurer; said the whole thing was a set up, and now says he will never speak to ITN again.

There was no time left for any emails or texts either.

I think he said the interview was supposed to last six minutes - but it looks like it was abandoned about 3 minutes in!

I thought it was worthy of a thread of it's own!

Tragic politicos that we are, we will be having a couple of TVs, a couples of crates of alcohol, and several dozen pizzas.

Sounds like the set-up in my flat for the US election. Plus a dozen or so people turned up for it, too. Sadly it won't be repeated this year, since my flatmate's got two exams the next day. Bloody university scheduling...

My plans for election night are a bit hands on. I'm presenting a special election show on our student radio station (from someone's bedroom in halls of residence because the studios close at 2am) so we'll be pretty busy.

So if you find the main election coverage a little bit dry, then try ours at www.radio.warwick.ac.uk

Sorry.

I'm a bit annoyed about missing Bremner Bird and Fortune, and then I'd be watching BBC's coverage (their studio looks very nice from what I've seen of it - must have cost a fair bit!)

I think this "worrying trend" probably prevents people like me contributing more often! However, it is not taken so personally though, as I'm quite happy jusy to read and be amused at the same 10 or 11 posters more than anything.

re: ITV Lunchtime News - does anyone have a capture or s(!)screenshots of this debacle? Sounded entertaining stuff.

It's of little consequence (and probably interest) now, but with the BBC being criticised for their red colouring, it is odd that they did not use the same black astons which they used for the 2004 European and Local Elections.

Yeah - that's as good a reason as any... Very Happy
