Any organisation can commission a poll from any polling company, but it's generally accepted that when another broadcaster or publisher quotes a poll, they include a credit both to the polling company and the commissioning organisation. So the BBC might well quote a "YouGov poll for ITN" for example.

Yes, as I said on the last page.
I really do not think ITV have commissioned a YouGov poll that was released yesterday, I think somewhere you're getting your wires crossed.
YouGov, ITV, ePolitix... none of them are reporting it.
ITN did commission a poll in conjunction with a newspaper - The Times, I think, which would mean the poll was Populous - that was released on the day of the election announcement, but not yesterday.
If they were passing the Sky poll off as an ITV one, they're on dodgy ground.
Sky seem to have got Peter Kellner in for the entire campaign. They've got a fairly big deal going with YouGov.

The A Team?
Sky are using these sidebars on their coverage excellently - I'm assuming they'll be a big part of the new look. They work very well, by sticking up facts next to politicians when they're talking about policy.
Actually, I say I'm assuming they'll be part of the new look, Vote 2001 graphics were stunning and we all know what a vile mess they ended up with a few months later.

Is it Reservoir Dogs? Ocean's 11? Or more likely a scene from BBC1 crime caper, Hustle? Er, no, it's the BBC's general election team, who come over all "come and have a go if you think you're hard enough" for this publicity pic. Monkey can't help but feel that Fiona Bruce - surely a shoo-in for the glamorous Jaime Murray role in Hustle - would have been happier with the gimmick than David Dimbleby, a dead ringer (sort of) for Hustle's old-school con artist, Robert Vaughn. The con, sorry, the election is on!

Haven't seen the new Westminster studio - any caps? Is there a new N24 Style desk?
Remember, that studio's not at Millbank - it's somewhere on the other side of the river.
I've not seen the Millbank newsroom studio for a little while now - would I be right in saying it was last seen on Dateline a week last Sunday? Perhaps the builders are in...

We've seen it all today and people still aren't happy....
A new (well, revamped) BBC studio in Westminster, new graphics, helicopters, live relay links from Downing St to Buck Palace, simultaneous live links across the country (finally making use of regional political correspondents), triple down the line interviews, the BBC election bus and some rather snazzy opting in and out of the BBC One of Clock news.
What more can you people ask for?!
