Is everyone else seeing a flicker, between the Vote 05 graphic and the red breaking news bar? That's the most annoying thing right now.

There really is a terrible flicker at the top left of the new Sky graphics.

Edit: just beat me to it.

The other thing is they haven't made the vote graphics extend to the furthest possible edge (ie. depending on what TV you watch it on, there are gaps at the bottom or the left, which looks a bit mess, unlike the top left corner logo and clock).

Sorry about the dire quality, but for those that don't know what we're talking about.

I like the strap without 'breaking news' - and it'll presumably be without breaking news most of the time, but the little bug at the bottom is vile compared to last time.

Their newswall image is stunning, though.

Nice to see Michael Brunson is on. He once called me 'very clever'. So there.

I am loving that newswall graphic!

Mindful of the Dyson advert when I see it, though.

Could someone upload a Sky News cap, that isn't hosted on Gaydar? My work firewall blocks it as "Adult Material"

It's the only upload space I have.

And there's nothing on my Gaydar profile that might be seen as offensive or rude.

Ahem.

If you want me to email it to you, I will.

Those budget cuts are really hitting, aren't they.

On second viewing the Sky News effort isn't *that* bad...the spinning graphics behind the two-way shot (haven't seen the newswall yet) are impressive.

You got to love the BBC Battlebus though- it's like something out of Inspector Gadget.

Jon Sopel just gave a kind of overview of it saying something like- "I love the way the awning comes up on the roof studio"....it's very nice though and should provide good backdrops (TV studio quite high up) as long as they don't park it next to a busy road every time (like they have now).
