Al Jazeera Eng showing pics from State TV in Cairo relaying coverage of demo in Tahrir sq,
Yes, it's the first time they've shown the protests which is a promising sign. AJ have been dipping into it occasionally, it's interesting to hear what they're putting out, including an Egypt tourist board promotion in between news bulletins.
Spot on coverage from the BBC. Mike Embley, Tim Wilcox and Frank Gardner in the studio with Lyse Doucet and Paul Adams in Cairo.
People said Tim came back too early, but Mike just introduced him as someone who's just come back from Tahrir Square, so it gives them expertise in London too.
It's great seeing how Tim links himself to stories. He was Chile Tim, not he's Egypt Tim. He seems to do what all good journalists do - absorb facts like a sponge.

Any sign of Mishal? She was on the six and ten on Monday but I haven't seen her since? Has she been on world?

She's only retweeted since the 8th, one would assume she's back in London.
The Ten coming up, Huw Edwards and Lyse Doucet anyone?
I'd assume that with Tim Willcox joining Mike Embley in the World studio that the News Channel will stick with the open ended coverage and BBC One will do it's own thing.
