Anna Botting is interviewing Barry Petersen from CBS News over the phone - he's inside the compound with the rebels.

Sky News at its very best yet again this afternoon/evening. Alex Crawford's reports from outside the compound are truly extraordinary.

Having said that not entirely sure what Anna Botting in Zawiyah adds to the coverage, I suppose she may make her way to Tripoli overnight.

^^^ Totally agree, they have amazing videos from inside while CNN is again totally lost with the same shot of the city on screen for hours. BBC doesn't seem to be doing much better either, a full screen of a guest somewhere in London. Surprised

Sky was interviewing William Hague at least an hour ago - he's just finished being interviewed on the BBC. BBC seems to be behind on this...

Stuart Ramsay has just driven into Tripoli and is right in the middle of fighting - I think he flew to Tunisia and has driven in from the west.

Alex now live inside the compound. AJE also have what they are calling 'exclusive' high quality live pictures from inside the compound.

Sky deserve all the accolades they get for this coverage. Amazing pictures from Alex and her team.

I think Al Jazeera Arabic or Al Arabyia had the first video of inside the compound.

CNN's Sara Sidner doing good coverage on the ground, although as you would expect seems very worried due to the celebratory gunfire. That said, Alex on Sky is not bothered by anything Razz

Yep Sky have been great, but the picture quality has been lousy, I really hope they have been recording it in broadcast quality in camera as its' great stuff. AJ haven't been continuously live from the compound but their pics are clearer, the same for the ones AP were putting out earlier which were carried on all the channels.
