BBC World News started this hour with Lucy Hockings & Peter Dobbie, and then joined the BBC News at 6 with Sian Williams after the titles. I think this is probably a first.

Not really - they were running at least the 10 during the height of the phone hacking scandal. They ran the headline sequence that time, though; here World just ran the normal TOTH and handed over to "our colleagues over at BBC One".
EDIT: To answer questions, World was indeed in N8 for the 5:00GMT hour (and a little before that I think). Before that they were simulcasting BBC News from N6.
Which is presumably the reason for the DOG on the Andrew Marr show and the Politics Show on DTL interviews, so that when they're borrowed under fair dealing, there is some BBC branding on it.
Yep the Sunday morning political shows are very good examples of fair dealing or 'news access'.

And such "fair use" in news programming usually must not top a couple of minutes - hence simulcasting pictures from another channel would not be considered "fair use".
Breaking News: Matthew Chance of CNN confirms that Saif al Islam Gadaffi is NOT arrested and has turned up at the media hotel in Tripoli. He states that the whole thing has been a ploy to fool the rebels????
What's going on here. Two arrested sons now escaped?
