Michael Holmes and Hala Gorani now anchoring on CNN. Many on CNN Domestic won't know who they are.

Casual viewers no, but Hala at least is quite a regular on CNN/US so regular viewers may know who she is. She was meant to be anchoring on CNN/US Sunday night anyway, and she has filled in on CNN/US occasionally before. She has also done lots of reporting on CNN/US. And she played a prominent role in simulcasted major international news earlier in the year

Simon McCoy has been joined by Peter Dobbie on the News Channel. I presume they'll simulcast for most of the day.

Breakfast as normal.

BBC World's Rupert Wingfield Hayes and his crew ambushed by Gadaffi forces on the road towards Tripoli.

Naga on air one hour earlier than usual. Wonder if Tanya Beckett will replace Babita at 5am London, bridging the gap until the Breakfast hours, or perhaps Babita will stay for an extra hour.

Babita always appears to be on duty when big overnight news breaks.

Still Babita and Naga at 5am.

No doubt because Adam Parsons started at 7pm last night here in the UK. If he stayed on till 4am, that's 9 hours on air!

BBC's coverage seems to be improving this morning. Worrying news about Rupert Wingfield-Hayes and his crew however.

Sky News Today (as it was known) began broadcasting at 9am this morning, instead of at 10, with Mark Longhurst. Alex Crawford has been fantastic all night and this morning interestingly she admitted that she didn't have a visa.

Sam Kiley has been talking over Skype from Tunisia about the special forces operating in Libya and Lisa Holland, I presume, has replaced Tim Marshall as the senior correspondent in the studio this morning.

Anyone know where Sky's Ian Woods is? He was with the rebels earlier but he hasn't been on air this evening as the story developed.

Ian Woods just attempted to report live from western suburbs of Tripoli, the communications are very weak. He just suggested that they are planning to meet up with Alex Crawford's team.

Who presented sunrise then? Was it just Charlotte?

Looks like the spare anchors are being sent out to report live - Rachel Schofield is outside the Libyan embassy (would have been where Peter Dobbie was if not for the simulcast) and whoever was supposed to be with Martine will no doubt head out later.

Eamonn Holmes presented Sunrise. I only caught the last 20 minutes or so of Sunrise, but Charlotte didn't seem to have been doing much because of the rolling news.

Live images coming from Tripoli on Sky News just now, they're now showing images from a couple of minutes ago.
