I'm absolutely with you, it's just not a place you go to to find out the news any more. I have it and other news channels on in the background at work and it's definitely the one I refer to the least. And those African bank adverts, blimey!
The amount of live news on CNN now is shockingly poor. If BBC World can manage to have a full international news bulletin every hour, as well as regular business and sport updates, then I see no reason why CNN can't.

Yep, it's a very good example of being lucky and being in the right place at the right time.
The pics of the flag being shot were amazing, I hope they were recording on the ground, they'll be the iconic images

As per Twitter: producer Andy Marsh and cameramen Garwen McLuckie and Jim Foster. Brilliant work from them all.
Sky back live in Green Square now. As mentioned above, it was good of Stephen to give a name check to the team with Alex.

They mentioned earlier that it's via BGAN - that's a portable internet/satellite system. They'll have a flat fold out 'dish' that's sending the video back
Yes, but as I say it's mostly just luck. Another day it could have been Sky stuck in the hotel and the BBC in the square
Occasional lagging in picture and in quality. Sky are lucky to be getting these live and lsrgely uninterrupted. Is this fiotage being sent via mobile networks?

Powered, I believe was mentioned earlier on Twitter, by the pick-up truck's cigarette lighter! Truly remarkable!
