Great reporting from Alex Crawford again tonight as she follows the rebels advancing on Tripoli.
Is it my imagination or is AJE coverage not as extensive as it was during the 'revolution' in Eygpt? It's not that they don't have reporters on the ground but they don't seem tobe rolling with the story.

Sky now have live pictures from Alex Crawford from the streets of Tripoli. Absolutely outstanding reporting yet again. Journalist of the Year again?

Well a nomination is surely a certainty. This live report at the moment is extraordinary, both in terms of Alex's journalism and the technology to broadcast from a moving vehicle.

Sky News certainly seem to be doing the best with this developing story not only on a national scale (I.e. in comparison to the BBC), but internationally - as a poster above said, AJE are juggling this story with Assad's speech in Syria tonight, and not really covering it non-stop.
Also, I just took a look at AlJazeera Arabic and AlArabiya (screenshots below from about 10 minutes ago), and even they are showing VTs from throughout the day, with AlJazeera Arabic having a correspondent on the ground - however certainly not as 'exciting' as Alex's coverage.

Matthew Chance in Tripoli and Sara Sidner with the rebels. Ivan Watson just got out of Tripoli before the coast road between Tunisia and Tripoli was closed
CNN have Mathew Chance and, I think, Ivan Watson on the ground. Whilst Michael Holmes was also recently in Libya.
