This wasn't a response to the NOS, they've been altering the end credits of various bulletins since 2014/2015. The first one that was changed was the 6 o'clock edition

I wonder if this was the response to the 2016 NOS Journaal new studio, as it is 2 years later. Earlier in this forum I talked about a theory that RTL Nieuws rebrands 2 years after the NOS.

NRK in Norway also broadcast morning radio bulletins on Sundays when I last checked. Just a standard radio studio with two cameras. Having said that, they also have Dagsnytt Atten which started as a radio programme, then started being broadcast on TV and now has more TV viewers than radio listeners each day whilst still coming from this studio.
Similar thing happening in New Zealand with "The AM Show" on Three.
Don't forget that radiobulletins are being broadcast on VRT in the morning hours, which is a way cheaper way to provide news at that moment.

There are similarities, except 'The AM Show' (and it's predecessor 'Paul Henry') are a true blend of both mediums, it can either function perfectly as a TV Show (with extra large microphones) or a radio show, and not just be "radio with pictures".

Which begs the question -- do we really need a dedicated thread for Dutch news presentation? Is there really so much happening in the Netherlands presentation-wise? I doubt it, and the other thread enables international comparisons like the one above -- which are always interesting.
EDIT: Of course, one-time events such as relaunches are a different matter; in those cases, dedicated threads certainly make sense.
