Things have moved very quickly today and the jury's verdict is being given at the moment. How are the news channels coping? You could see the panic in the background of N24's set as they realised a verdict was due, I don't think anyone saw this coming so quickly.
EDIT: Unlawful killing due to actions of Henri Paul and paparrazi is the verdict. This could be fun.
I've been listening to Sky who seem to have been pretty much on the ball with this. They were live outside the court with a 10 minute warning on the verdict, and the reporter there did a pretty good job summing up all the evidence - almost sounded as if she was reading it all off autocue because she was reeling off all the facts for so long, obviously she'd prepared very well.
You can just close your eyes and already imagine what the coverage will be like. Tomorrow's papers telling us pretty much what we already knew years ago, except the Express which'll proabably think it's the biggest whitewash since Hutton.
The inquiry would almost be worth all the millions it's cost if it finally shuts Fayed up, but somehow I doubt that'll happen...
It's absurd to see Mary Nightingale interviewing Lord Stevens 'down the line' standing just round the corner from where she's presenting the programme.
Not the nicest of graphics. I think also they should differentiate them more from the regular ones - pointless it all being red an white.
Anyway, however many million pounds on and we get the outcome everyone expected at the beginning - and of course, get the outcome everyone knew Mr Al Fayed wouldn't be happy with.
The only good thing to have come out of this mess is the chance that Paul Burrell may be locked up!
