Chris Jansing has had enough:

What happened was as it was an NBC/MSNBC simulcast NBC ran out an ad break midway through Morgan Chesky’s report. So MSNBC decided to end it and I guess she expected them to cut to the anchor on before her. She came out about five minutes before the report for MSNBC (likely because she’s much more known than the relatively new to MSNBC anchor). I assume at the end she expected them to cut to the anchor. But with everything being run on a skeleton shift they cut back to her who obviously was frustrated as it was cut off. She comeback to anchor the 11 PM and 12AM hours. Once my computer finishes transferring and encoding everything (a ton of video from the space launch) I will try to make a side by side video of the two broadcasts.

It took ages for my computer to transfer and transcode about 24 hours of video from .TiVo to .ts finally to a .mp4 as workable format. But I finally made the side by side video of the NBC network and MSNBC simulcast of the Special Report.

Here in Baltimore on Monday there were peaceful protests but after 10:30 PM a few people started rioting, people were arrested and someone set off fireworks towards police (and the rest of the crowd pushed him towards police to be arrested). Tuesday was a youth led protest with several thousand people that was non violent and ended well.

If you want some to see demonstrations presented with minimal commentary, here’s footage from KNBC (Los Angeles) footage from News Chopper 4 Alpha flying aroundnLos Angeles. A lot of it is NAT but occasionally the aerial photojournalist will come on and update people in English and Spanish (for Telemundo sister station KVEA ).

With George Floyd's funeral happening tomorrow in Houston, it appears the US networks will provide special coverage.

Bad decision from Sky Second time in a week they've annoyed me; last week they cut away from Boris Johnson to interview Jeremy Hunt. First time I've watched it on the BBC, bit annoying having the BSL bloke blocking the slides.

Although, FWIW, Boris didn't actually say anything else after Sky cut away other than his rather verbose version of "stay safe/alert/whatever and thanks for watching" last week. It was very clear he was wrapping up.

You can watch it on BBC 1 without the Sign Language.

AJE also covering the funeral of George Floyd, dipping in and out live. Now back with it open-ended, it would seem

And, if causing anyone annoyance is now the criterion, bad decision from BBC News around the same time by showing the Coronavirus now-nondaily Briefing (the broadcasters can't win either way it seems!). Showing the Business Minister in response but not answer to the question, of when overnight stays such as campsites might be allowed, leaving me hanging on waiting for an answer to the question, managed to annoy me. He was seen talking about other things, that I felt totally irrelevant, during which I was waiting, waiting, waiting for anything as to when campsites might be allowed to open, getting increasingly annoyed through my wait for the answer, only then for me to be let down in disappointment as he still failed to address, let alone answer, the question at the end.

Has BBC World been showing the funeral without commentary since joining it?

The long running US documentary series COPS has been axed by Paramount Network (US). Apparently they had Season 33 in the can, but has been dropped.
