JUST NOW WHOA. Very very public and contrite public apology by the Governor of MN on the arrest of Omar and his CNN team. He was clearly extremely extremely angry this has happened.

An extraordinary yet compulsory apology from what appears to be a sincere and astute governor.

I watched the report on Omar's arrest from RTÉ News this evening. Those police officers were really arrogant towards the CNN team at that critical moment. It's great to see that justice has been prevailed for the team at CNN in these highly intense circumstances.

Still no word on what they were being arrested FOR, still no word on why several police officers appeared to lose the power of speech.

Absolutely incredible scenes. I was watching CBSN Minnesota for most of the early morning period.
