Depends what's negotiated. I suspect Haiti will warrant a near simultaneous one around 1855. Others have been positioned around the main news of the day.

Yeah it was for Gaza.
Also I think Myleene Klass is doing ITV's one - I'm sure she's done it before and from @Itvnewsinsider " Singing star coming to ITN to present it"
Didn't the BBC refuse to show the last one?

Yes. Sky News and the BBC both felt that broadcasting the Gaza appeal conflicted with the impartiality of their news coverage of the ongoing Gaza conflict, as it was effectively an appeal for aid for one side of the Palestine/Israel conflict, so declined to show it on their outlets.
As this is a natural disaster in Haiti, I can't see any issue with it being shown.

Didn't Sky News show it in the end? They just took a long time to decide. In reality, the BBC probably showed it more than any other broadcaster as it was included as part of news reports on the fact that they weren't showing it and it was run on a loop albeit without sound when BBC News 24 spoke to media commentators on the phone.

:-(
ITV News have said on Facebook that Sir Trevor McDonalds is fronting the appeal.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00qj35d lists it as being presented by Kirsty Young.
I seem to remember a previous DEC appeal (2004 Tsunami?) having a separate one produced by BBC Scotland, with a local presenter - probably Jackie Bird.
