Actually I like her. I think her way of presenting the news is quite appropriate for her shift. And I also like her odd way of signing off: "BBC News". Clear and simple.
She signs off 'BBC News' simply because as she broadcasts simultaneously on both BBC News 24 and BBC World, she cannot refer to the specific channels. Therefore it is easier for her to refer to the generic BBC News.
What he is saying is that is how she says good bye just with a simple "BBC News" as with Alistair Yates he says "And thats where we round up the World news I'm Alistair Yates" or Karin Gianone (excuse the spelling) "Thats all the news for now"

Is Deborah Mackenzie from BBC News 24 one of the most misrable people on earth? Does this woman ever smile? Sometimes I have to change channel when she reads the News because she looks so depressed. Is it just me or am I right?
