Studio C althrough surely E would have been free since Simon McCoy did Afternoon Live from Westminster today.

Presumably although the studio wasn't on-air - the gallery still was...

Breaking news in this hour, and the BBC News Channel are showing one of their BBC World simulcast shows rather than a proper UK focussed hour of rolling news.

Jeremy Hunt is the new Foreign Secretary - will any Journalists get caught out do the mistake that has happened a few time before.
Think the likelihood of immediate Votes of Confidence or PM resignations has passed through the Media will of course be prepared in case the situation changes again.

He fell off air halfway through. Some might see that as a metaphor Smile

Once it has happened three times, it won't happen again, probably, maybe.

Not really. The first resignation was less than 24 hours ago, and that came at a quarter to midnight. If there are no more resignations, after MPs have had the time to think about it, I would be rather surprised.

I was trying to hint that it will almost certainly happen again.

As a consequence of Boris' resignation is that Hunt has got the Foreign Office and Culture Secretary Matt Hancock is now Health Secretary.

Therefore there's a new Culture Secretary - the Attorney General, Jeremy Wright. I think Matt Hancock was quite well thought of in the broadcasting industry so it'll be interesting to see how the new bloke gets on

Never really understood how being culture secretary prepared you for being health secretary.

To be fair all cabinet reshuffles puzzle me, at a moments notice you have a completely different brief.

Imagine if that happened in other jobs

Accounts, you’re now doing HR. HR you’re now in Marketing..

I seem to recall Yes Minister gave a pretty good insight into that.
