Apologies for setting up a new thread for this but can see there being quite big coverage of this in the upcoming hours as happens with anything Brexit related.

Sky leading with the news at the moment and doing a live with Lewis Goodall while BBC have chosen to go ahead with the World News simulcast which looks like it'll heavily cover the Thailand cave rescue.

It will all depend is anyone else goes over the next 24 hours, if it does let just say the fireworks are only getting started.

Late at night so the print media are rushing out second editions.
Could change news bulletins lengths for those shortened by the world cup.
Remember the death of Dawn Sturgess as well - another big story to fit into bulletins along with Thailand and the world cup. And then on Friday and the weekend it's President Trump's visit which will surely be near blanket coverage on the news channels.

Most people can get the news one way or another these days. I highly doubt news bulletin times will change, just because of this.

Just a precautionary warning to all to keep any discussion to presentation related matters. For anyone wishing to discuss the politics side of things please discuss it elsewhere (e.g. create a topic on Metropol). Posts that drift off into politics may be edited or deleted.

There are three other minsters to keep a very close on, If anyone of them go it could lead to a challenge for the leadership and It really does feel like 1992 all over again..

You mean 1990, right? 1992 is when John Major won a general election, but 1990 is when he replaced Thatcher as PM.

1995 was leadership's challenge because of eu? My 1992 comment was because how 2017 election seems to be following 1992. Weak leader, help from ni parties, etc.

A fella has been stood behind Adam Boulton for a good hour of so waving a ‘Brexit - is it worth it?’ sign whilst wearing a silly outfit.

Which begs the question - has someone waving a sign whilst wearing a silly outfit behind someone presenting a live OB ever managed to change somebody’s point of view on something as polarising as Brexit? Because I’d imagine the vast majority of viewers are just thinking “look at that div”.

Sky were lucky to have the Press Preview on when it broke around 11.40pm. The NC went to the Film Review and then simulcast World overnight.

The two presenters on BBC World News in the Singapore studio this morning were having a right old chortle about David Davis’ comments on Friday where he vehemently denied plans to resign.

It was slightly HIGNFY the way they were reporting the story.
