Sophie's just said Darren will be on the Six tonight. He's been on before and I thought he was quite good. Who was on Breakfast this morning? Was it Sian and Simon?

No, it was Bill and Sian so I didn't bother watching. Very Happy

I'd rather have Darren on the six than on the one. I think he's better suited to the style. I'd also like to see Darren on the ten, I think he could work well on the programme.

Cant he just stay on ONE Bulletin? Also Winifred ~ If you want to watch an awarding Breakfast you should watch it with Bill and Sian on! They are the best in the business along with Moira too of course! Very Happy

Yes, that's right. They are the best in the business, especially when the Great One is at the news desk on duty.

I agree with you about Moira, she's a legend, but Bill and Sian just don't do it for me, I don't know why,,I just can't put my finger on it. Sorry, but that's just my opinion.

Darren Jordon is fast becoming the Mike Embley of BBC1. He's on virtually every bulletin! He often does more than just Friday's One O'clock News, and does practically every weekend. Every time I tune in, it's Darren. Not that I mind, though, as he's one of the best newsreaders on BBC1. The others I would say are Anna Ford, Huw Edwards and George Alagiah. The rest -- Sophie Raworth, Sian Williams (to an extent), Natasha Kaplinsky and Dermot Murnaghan -- I could take or leave.

I wish Darren would take the six and Mike take the one. Mike is one of the BBC best newsreaders, He should have a national slot. Darren is far more sutied to the six than HRT Geogre.
Is there any news of this pool of presenters or have life jackets been deployed?

You can say that again, I like Darren but why is he ALWAYS on BBC ONE News, can't they get someone else once in a while?

All though I said his presentation style is best suited (IMO) to the ten, he still annoys me the way he constantly bobs around when he's reading. He's almost as bad as David Willis. I find the extent of it is off putting.
