I agree, it always seems so big when they bring that desk in! Always thought the programme would suit a Sky News Sunrise set-up, with a desk, and sofa combo...the current set looks tired IMO...bring back the green sofa eh?

There has been no refresh. It's always dressed slightly differently for the week of the Budget (and the PBR). It will be back to normal by next Monday.
As for your other point: yes, the picture quality from Millbank is still as bad as its always been.

Isn't that because of the Analogue technology still in use there - the distant/wide shots look terribly ghosty...
