I have to agree with other posters, This Week is a brilliant show - the best politics show out there IMO. It's informative and incisive, but isn't afraid to make fun of itself.

Andrew Neil, Diane Abbot and Michael Portillo are a classy triple-act - the banter and debate between Diane and Michael makes brilliant viewing. Mark Mardell's reports are also invariably inspired and entertaining.

Why's it on so late at night?

The BBC's This Week is not as good as that ancient ITV show of the same name, which is now dead and buried.

And I am always sceptical about Andrew Neil. Much as I like his wit, his history of journalism is not the cleanest.

This week is a fab programme. I have my reservations about Andrew (Brillo pad) Neil, but the programme is consistently good.

Oh yes, and I have a love thang for Portillo.

The Box was fab but it didn't have Spare Tyres and Portillo on. They are just fabulous beyond belief. I got their autograph for my 16th birthday, both of them have very simlar handwriting to yours actually. Wonder why that is...
