Jon Sopel's OK, but I prefer Andrew Neil.

Do you ever watch This Week, after Question Time? I think he's fantastic particulary when you throw in Ms Abbott and Mr Portillio. Sheer brilliance.

I like his intro - he always says ' Evening all ... '. And he always connects Diane and Michael to top newsmakers, for instance last Thursday we had ' The Charles and Camilla of late night television '.

I find him rather refreshing compared with most other political commentators. He's livly and sarcastic, a unique mix plus you can't beat Diane Abbott for banter. Wish she'd come down to our consituency and take over as we have a UKIP, a Tory and Bliar right candidate all of which are utter morrons.
Mark Mardel is also brillaint on the programme. Overall a very educated, livly and generally well put together programme, pitty about the timing though. Although I have discovered its repeated on BBC Parliament on Friday evening at about 5ish.

Yes, I do watch This Week on Thursday nights. I love the chemistry between Andrew, Diane and Michael. It's a shame it's not on prime-time TV. I think it should be braodcast some time between 8pm and 10pm on Thursday before Question Time, it would be a ratings winner. Laughing

Yes, Andrew's intros always make me laugh. They make Diane laugh as well, she's always laughing her head off when he says them. Laughing
