He sure is, and he'll be sure to be squeaky clean, unlike his predecessor.

It'll be interesting to see how the Daily Mail, Telegraph, et al play this one. I mean look at him! He's exactly the sort of tree-hugging, breard-weary lefty that they tell us runs the BBC...

Will this not make things difficult for Joanna Gosling?

Yes, and also, I didn't realise that "he masterminded the BBC's 2010 general election results programme", according to Nick Robinson's blog: http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/nickrobinson/2011/02/holding.html

Why would it unless he's been up to no good? You never heard Andy's name heard unless it was down to the phone scandal.

I'm sure Moz meant it would be difficult for Gosling to not be accused of bias by have-a-go opportunistic non-Tories.

As a have-a-go, opportunistic non-Tory, I'll be keeping an eye on her.... Shocked

not that I don't already... Embarassed

I very much doubt her husbands job will affect her journalistic balance. Afterall Adam Bolton is married to an ex Labour advisor!

I don't like him. He's just getting Joanna in trouble anytime. Confused

Well, with the way John Becow is treated, I wouldn't be surprised at anything the Westminster Village twitterati come out with.

Let's hope a Derek Draper/Kate Garraway type situation doesn't appear, where he made the news & she disappeared for a few days out of the way! (Mind you she was preggers at the time too!)
