Some of the News Specials have pushed a few minutes into six anyway. They usually pick up the slack during The One Show.
EDIT: Matt Hancock is even allowing comebacks from the questioners so we could be here quite a while!
WTF BBC, cut away for the bloody weather forecast, BBC 1 and the NC. FFS!
Daily conference from Downing Street seems to be running a little late. I wonder if it goes past 6pm BBC One will switch to the Six or carry on with the conference?

Really poor decision to cut away. I can’t be the only one to turn over to Sky then.

Nope, I'm on Sky too. The Beeb have badly shot themselves in the foot with this

I’m watching BBC News online. We also got Clive introducing the weather forecast but then immediately cut back to the press conference, which is now airing without lower thirds and signing. And allowing a full view of the lecterns which have again slightly changed in design!
The only difference with this particular online feed (apart from lack of graphics) is that the wide shot of the press room and plasma is not available. Only the primary camera shot airs. Not a biggie.

It's bloody madness. This is the government being scrutinised by the media, on the biggest crisis the UK has ever had, what's more PSB than that FFS?
Given it was simulcast they could have carried on surely, at least on the News Channel?
