Global / LBC have also been running a near-normal weekday operation on both LBC and LBC News - unthinkable on a 'normal' Good Friday.


LBC News has been live overnight as well this week including this morning.

He must be freelance as he was on BBC World News the other week. Unless he has a twin?

He was an ITV News correspondent for a few years before going freelance in 2011. I think of him as an ITV face (a bit like Lewis Vaughan Jones, who I think is still freelance) because of how long he's exclusively been on there, but he's apparently been on the BBC for nearly four years now.

He’s been presenting ITV London over the last few months regularly with Charlene on maternity and during Lucrezia’s time on Dancing on Ice

Interesting, they don't go through all the O&Os first.

That’s what I was thinking. The seem to be favoring stations in the central time zone and westward. I was thinking at first it was because the local newscasts and national wouldn’t be back to back, but that’s the case in the central time zone and at the time KCBS produced the news.

That front 3 shot they've got set up is not fit for broadcast. I've not seen it before.

Someone needs to ask the Home Secretary why we are allowing so many flights to land in the UK and waving people through airports into the UK without any testing whatsoever. Even seen flights on Flightradar24 coming in from Covid-19 riddled New York. I thought flights between Europe and the USA had been halted.

Questioner number two begins his question with - "Will you apologise...." and keeps pressing for an apology rather than any actual answers. Pathetic.

I'm no fan of Priti Patel but these questions were never going to get the answers they want - journalists still after soundbites, or more precisely a failure to answer, rather than using their questions to get information beneficial to their audience. Rightly or wrongly too they tried to focus on the crime and policing aspect of the situation in the statements beforehand so it would have been better to have questions focused on that really, questions the Home Secretary may be in a position to answer.

Nice long countdown from right now. They stopped out of the press conference for the “teatime bulletin” and they had a nice hiccup and explained what happened.
