Bit of an error on the subtitles during today's briefing which appeared to say that the government's biggest priority was defeating the Koran.

There has been the question too (from newsreaders themselves) about why political editors are dominating the questions when it arguably should be the medical correspondents?

Why are some of the most unimpressive questions from journalists/reporters always asked by BBC's Laura Kuennsberg and Sky's Beth Rigby at these daily briefings. Both have been utterly woeful today.

I'm getting a little tired of the question, 'when will we hit the peak'. With many peaks you don't know until you've passed it. Ever tried to maximise the exchange rate when buying holiday money?!

Pecking order! Usually always starts with BBC.

The best questioning today (IMO) came from Tom Newton Dunn. As noted by others above, distinctly unimpressed today by the q’s from LK, BR and RP.

Tom Newton Dunn’s were pointless ones there were never going to answered.

The Queen has really been the one constant in people's lives for decades. As a few people mentioned on Twitter last night, it is quite something when you can refer to a broadcast you made in 1940.

Both the BBC and ITV having reports from inside hospitals tonight with COVID-19 patients. As important as covering the story is from inside hospitals, it does seem to go against everything we're being told, especially if those reporters are on screen tomorrow or indeed later this week either mixing with the public or in the newsroom.

I echo the thoughts about the three above. I don't tend to watch Sky News but my experience of Rigby's questions over the last three weeks suggest that she is woeful. Peston is just a Spitting Image character without the latex. And LK.. well for me she was far better in her Economics Editor role previously. Compared to those that came before them we have a very weak selection of Polictical Editors at present.

It didn't take a journalist paid £££ to know that Raab was ever going to change the fact that Johnson is still leading the country. Unless Boris become very ill (and let's hope not) that would always be the line.

I believe we are now at the point that these press conferences should become every other day now. With statements issued on the other days.
